The Continuing Stories of Minion A
Kendall: So, the mayor of Mictlan is stepping down, finally. Maybe she’ll go away.

A: Not a chance. She’ll wind up on TV spouting the same hillbilly ideas that didn’t work out for her as mayor, as though they have some sort of legitimacy.

A: Think about all the ways this place has changed over the eons. Fifteen hundred years ago, whatever you were born to do you did, no questions asked. But we got rid of the caste system without a violent uprising of any sort, because we didn’t need one. We’re finally civilized enough to have a power structure that responds to great thinkers.
A: Change now comes from better ideas, not bigger armies. And what do most people do with this gift of being born into this society? Waste it on factless bile spewn from uninformed idiots. They prattle on about “common sense” as though it’s a basis for any thought. Might as well pull a hobo off the street and have him be your surgeon.

A: If you believe in “common sense” and not observed facts, best get your ass out of the universe, because its own physics are a jumbled mess of ridiculously complex beauty. And if you want to sit around and eat paste and lick windows, fine, but shut the hell up and leave the thinking for those of us willing to do a little work.

But of course, James Tiberius Kirk says it best:
